Larry Phifer is an artist from El Paso, Texas. Larry began his artistic journey as a naïve artist, driven by emotion, for the sole purpose of engaging in the act of creation. This was Larry's Art Brut stage.

Through his training with internationally acclaimed artists Aleksander and Lyuba Titovets,  Larry has now moved on to impressionistic landscape and figurative oil painting, which Larry sees as a continuation - and not a replacement - of his Art Brut process. Regardless of form, however, Larry has found his purpose for creating art: to understand, capture, and convey the emotional beauty and raw harmony he sees in nature.
